Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 Finally Available

Don’t enjoy being restricted with the things you can do with your own iPad? There’s good news for you Absinthe 2.0, the untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 is now available.

The program was launched at the Hack in the Box conference in Amsterdam in 2012 where creators @pod2g and the @ChronicDevTeam released its version 2.0. Known as the “iOS Jailbreak Dream Team”, they launched both Corona and Absinthe programs at the conference.

According to the developers, a lot went behind in developing the jailbreak system. Users looking for instructions to safely jailbreak their iPad or iPhone can refer to the guide available on their website.

The makers also released a statement at the conference: “We want to take this opportunity to thank Hack in the Box for giving us the chance to all get together for the first time, especially in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, it has been a great delight for us to announce our next release at this event.
